NOR-WAY Bussekspress teamed up with Optidev to meet new market demands and to optimize the planning of the company’s bus routes.
The buss drivers use mobile computers to validate tickets by scanning the tickets bar code with support for both paper tickets and electronic tickets that require scanning the phone display.
The drivers also receive an overview how many passengers are getting on and off at each buss stop. The mobile ticket validation system speeds up the boarding process and reduces the use of cash on board, improving the safety onboard.
